Field Log: Rook-7, First Week at Threshold Station
Category: Field Logs
POLICE DEPARTMENT — FIELD UNIT LOG Unit: Rook-7 Location: Threshold Station Period: 2826 UCSD, Early Autumn, Days 1–7 Classification: Preliminary Site Assessment
Day 1 — Arrival, Dock Seven
The first thing worth trusting was the mismatch on the wall.
Atmospheric: nominal. Ozone trace +0.3% above station standard. Consistent with boundary proximity. Not a hazard. Is an indicator.
Chronometers C-7A and C-7B: 40-second discrepancy confirmed on arrival. Discrepancy is stable: same value observed on Days 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. This is not drift. This is a sustained condition.
Panel 7-C: stress fracture pattern. Frequency: noted.
Team lead (Thorne, G.): prior Krenyi experience confirmed by observation. Reads incident reports chronologically. Noted gap in the 2818 UCSD record: no mention of connection between discrepancy and prior boundary survey. He noticed this too.
Krenyi analyst (Syra): coherence-maintenance posture active throughout orientation. Normal for boundary-proximate environments. She will be the most accurate observer in the group.
Day 2 — Survey Office Briefing
Cross-referenced physical incident report copies against the boundary survey record.
Finding: the stress patterns documented in the incident reports (Sections G, J, K) form a connected network when mapped. The official reports treat each occurrence as isolated. They are not isolated. They are one phenomenon expressing at multiple points.
Hypothesis: the boundary oscillation is not uniform. It has a propagation pattern.
Day 5 — East Wall, Survey Office
Micro-crystalline stress pattern in the east wall (boundary-side) matches the dock panel from Day 1. Same resonance frequency.
The resonance extends through the boundary-proximate section of the station.
Revised hypothesis: Threshold Station is sitting on a resonance mode of the boundary oscillation. The 40-second chronometer discrepancy is the temporal expression of this mode. The structural stress patterns are the material expression.
Day 7 — Preliminary Conclusion
This posting is not routine.
The station administration's responses to eleven years of incident reports suggest one of two failures: either they do not understand the connected nature of the phenomena, or they are deliberately suppressing data.
I do not yet have sufficient evidence to distinguish between those possibilities. This remains my primary open question.
Filing. Requesting access to maintenance logs 2815 through 2825 UCSD.
End compiled log. Classification: PRELIMINARY — ACTIVE.
