A Survey Corps team spends a crossing night on Drithane, and their manifest lists one courtesy animal. It is Bubochka's first exercise away from the station. Her job is to learn how a whole world watches its own sky. A cover that works by being ignored turns out to work differently on a planet where everyone looks twice.
