Entropy Horizon
In Union Irish: Léaslíne Eantrópachta — the horizon of entropy
Cosmology
The Entropy Horizon is the threshold after which novelty production in a universe becomes structurally non-self-renewing. Beyond this point, the universe can still evolve and generate change — but that change is recombinational rather than genuinely emergent.
Crossing the horizon does not require total physical heat-death. A universe may remain materially active while creatively closed.
Canonical post-horizon reference: Threnos-Ω.
Example: Threnos-Ω has not stopped moving. Its societies still build, its stars still burn — but every major cultural and technological development it now produces converges on a small set of already-seen forms. Crossing the entropy horizon did not silence the universe; it exhausted its capacity for genuine surprise.
