Aldera Reaches the Marsh Causeway

Months after leaving Dún Rí and Carraig Bán, Aldera arrives at the Marsh Causeway, following the heading Nessa gave her: south and west, to a boundary held by one person, insufficiently. The outpost's previous occupant has already departed by this point; the handover to the outpost's next occupant has not yet happened.

Aldera begins independent observation immediately, filing field logs in the format she started on Carraig Bán. She has no formal agency affiliation yet and no augmentation. What she has is the same natural sensitivity Nessa recognised — and months of practice reading it as signal rather than as an unnamed wrongness.

She is, at this point, entirely unaware that the outpost's next occupant will be the household she left. Elvira does not know it either, and will not learn it from this record.

Canon facts:

• Aldera arrives at the Marsh Causeway before Elvira does, and begins logging the boundary zone independently.
• Neither party is yet aware of the other's prior connection through Dún Rí; this is not resolved within Season 1.
• This entry bridges Season 1, Episode 0 and Elvira's arrival at the outpost.
